Having an engineering background, I have always enjoyed creating designs that people can use. Having learned the basics of steam bending wood from Charles Whinney three years ago, I have continued to develop my experience in wood bending in my studio at home. Form and function are important to me, and I strive to make products which look amazing and perform the task they are designed for.

I make all my designs by hand and from reclaimed timber. By creating my designs out of pre-used timber, usually a by-product from the construction industry; not only are no trees felled for my products, but the timber is also saved from landfill or the incinerator thus ensuring the carbon is not released to the atmosphere. Each piece I make is individual as I try to make the most of the natural features and characteristic of the timber to set the final design apart from any other.
